What is a Commission?

A commission is when a client pays an artist to create a custom piece of artwork. It can be for many reasons, such as personal use, a special event, or for a business. A commission can be a variety of mediums and subject matter, whatever your unique vision is, I would love to bring it to life!

How does it work?

My process essentially works as follows: A client will contact me with their initial idea, to which I will communicate back and forth to get a better grasp on their vision and give a pricing quote. After that I will send a contract for the client to sign. Once that is recorded I begin creating the art piece, sending updates as needed. When the painting is done I ensure the client is happy with the piece and it is then delivered.

What mediums & subject matter do you offer?

Honestly, really anything!
I primarily specialize in oil painting and watercolor, but I also do commissions in charcoal and pastel pencil.

As for subject matter, anything to your heart's content! I offer portraits, landscapes, still lifes, floral pieces, even pet portraits. If you feel you have a more unique or specific idea than what is listed, please let me know! I have done plenty of customized commissions.
