An Array of Blooms & Bountiful Fruit Oil Painting

This original piece features a rich composition of various objects that evoke a classic, traditional style, inspired by the lavish chiaroscuro still life paintings of old. Off center to the left, a wicker basket is tilted on its side, spilling out a bounty of colorful fruits. Next to it, a juicy red apple and yellow pear rest tranquily beside the basket. To the right, a ceramic vase is filled with a bundle of flowers, adding vibrancy to the scene with shades of crimson, cerelean blue, light pink, and amber yellow blooms. The darkened chiaroscuro lighting allows each object to stand out, while providing moody and deep shadows in the background for excellent contrast.

This original painting includes the pictured ornate gold frame, complete with a wire hanging on the back for easy installation.
