This print is based on an original oil painting created in the plein air style, a French technique meaning "in the open air". Essentially, it is a piece made from start to finish outdoors in the elements, using something from life as your reference, rather than a photograph. 

Featuring a solitary tree planted in the countryside, this print draws inspiration from John 15:5, which states, "I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing".
