I created this piece as a testament to the dichotomy of Motherhood. As a first time mom, I’ve found it can be dark, challenging, and exhausting, especially in those first few months when you feel like you’re living entirely in the trenches. But at the same time, it is also incredibly beautiful, rewarding, and deeply purposeful.

I feel this moody, jewel-toned bouquet perfectly captures that contrast. Even surrounded by darkness and difficulty, these flowers continued to grow, change, and bloom into something full of color and beauty. In many ways, motherhood feels the same to me. It stretches you, transforms you, and asks more of you than you ever knew you could possibly give. But watching your baby grow big and strong and into a remarkable little human makes every difficult moment worth it.

To all the moms out there, you’re doing great. Your efforts are not in vain. You are seen and loved.

This original painting has already been varnished to increase the color vibrancy and to protect the piece for years to come. The pictured vintage gold frame is included, along with a sawtooth hanger on the back for easy installation and display.
