Inspired by my trip to Rome and Athens, this is a limited edition giclée print of my watercolor architechural painting featuring the monument of Victor Emmanuel II.
The monument was built between 1885-1935 to honor Victor Emmanuel II, the first king of a unified Italy. There is something special about being able to capture history within an art piece.
The background of the monument showcases a bright blue sky with soft clouds. The foreground includes lush green trees, framing the monument nicely and adding contrast to its warm beige tones. Overall giving the piece a romantic quality to it.
