This original oil painting was inspired by a trip I took to Crete, hence the Greek mythology themed title. The piece showcases a lush scene of pomegranates hanging down amidst deep green foliage.

Persephone is often associated with pomegranates, used as a symbol of life, rebirth, and abundance. The ripe red pomegranates and vibrant vegetation indicate new beginnings and a fresh start. The start of something new.
